What we collect, what we do with it, and what we do not do.

Last updated July 27, 2026.

The short version

You give us an address, a name, a phone number and an email. We use them to build your cost range and to follow up about your project. We do not sell your information and we do not run ads on this site. We set no cookies and load no third party analytics or advertising pixels. We do count which steps of the calculator get used, on our own servers, and nothing about that leaves our systems.

What you give us

  • The property address you type into the calculator
  • Your project selections, such as roof or impact windows, and the material you pick
  • Your name, phone number and email address

Name, phone and email are required to see your score and estimate. That is the trade, and we state it on the form before you type anything.

What we look up about your property

Once you enter an address we match it against public records we already hold: the county property appraiser file for Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach, and building permits published by municipal permit portals. That gives us year built, living square footage, folio number, assessed value and permit history. All of it is public record before you ever visit this site. We store the result alongside your estimate so we can explain how a number was produced.

What we do with it

  • Generate your cost range and property score
  • Email you a copy of the estimate
  • Follow up about the project you asked about
  • Review our own accuracy, by comparing estimates against real signed pricing

Who sees it

We are not a contractor and we do not do the work ourselves. When you ask for an estimate we pass your details to one licensed Florida contractor, and a specialist from that company may follow up with you by phone, text or email about the project you priced. That is the same thing the form tells you before you submit. More about who runs this site is on the contact page.

We do not sell your information, and we do not hand it to lead brokers, aggregators or a panel of contractors who bid against each other. One form here does not turn into four companies calling you.

We will release information if the law requires it, such as a subpoena or a court order.

What we do not run

This site sets no cookies. There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel, no session recorder and no third party tag of any kind. Nothing about your visit is shared with an advertising network, because there is nothing here doing the sharing.

What we do count

We keep our own tally of how the calculator gets used: a page was viewed, an address was entered, a property record loaded, a project was picked, the contact step was reached, an estimate was requested. We record the city and ZIP of the property looked up, the page you were on, and where you arrived from if you came through a link we published. It is stored in our own database and it is never sent to anyone else.

To join those steps into one visit we store a random identifier in your browser's session storage. It is not a cookie, it holds nothing about you, it is not shared across sites, and it is discarded when you close the tab. We use this to find the places the calculator is losing people so we can fix them. If you would rather not be counted, browsing in a private window gives you a fresh identifier every time.

Our web server keeps ordinary access logs, which record the requesting IP address, the page requested and a timestamp. That is standard server operation, it is not tied to your estimate, and it is not used to build a profile of you.

Text messages and calls

If a specialist follows up by text, you can stop it at any time by replying STOP. You can ask to be removed from calls the same way, by telling whoever contacts you or by emailing us. We honor the request for the phone number you gave us.

How long we keep it

Estimates and contact details stay in our records until you ask us to remove them. Public property and permit data is not yours or ours, it is county record, and it stays in our database regardless.

Removing your information

Email us and ask. We will delete your name, phone, email and the estimate tied to them, and confirm when it is done. You do not need to give a reason, and you do not need an account to ask. The contact address is on the contact page.

Children

This site is built for property owners and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes we update the date at the top of this page. Material changes to what we do with your information will be described here rather than quietly swapped in.

Questions about any of this belong on the contact page.
